For travel: Island Hopper 28L or 40L?
Both COR Surf Island Hopper backpacks open flat like a suitcase and include padded laptop storage. The 28L is lighter and more compact; the 40L offers more room and a padded hip belt for carrying a heavier load.

Water protection: both Island Hopper models have weather-resistant exteriors and water-resistant zippers. They are not intended for submersion.

For wet conditions: choose a dry bag
The COR Surf 40L Waterproof Dry Bag Backpack offers more capacity and a roll-top closure. Its main compartment relies on correct closure; the outer pocket is splash resistant only and is not suitable for protecting electronics during submersion or prolonged heavy rain.
The Dry Pocket 25L Forest Camo Backpack uses a magnetic, self-sealing closure and locking buckles. The manufacturer rates the main closure IPX8; the front pouch is water resistant. Follow the maker's sealing and use instructions rather than assuming every pocket has the same protection.
For either bag, check the closure before use and follow the product's instructions. Neither bag is a life jacket or personal flotation device.
Choose your packing cube set
Every COR Surf set includes a separate laundry/shoe bag. The large and small cubes have a second zipper that compresses the contents; the laundry/shoe bag is not a compression cube.

Large cubes measure 15 × 10 in.; small cubes measure 10.5 × 7.5 in. The laundry/shoe bag measures 17 × 12.5 in. Cube thickness is approximately 3.5 in. expanded and 2 in. compressed; results depend on the contents. Check these dimensions against your bag before choosing a set.
Keep smaller essentials together
The Compact Toiletry Travel Bag measures 10 × 3.5 × 5 in. It includes mesh pockets, bottle bands and a hanging buckle. Its water-repellent material helps with splashes; it is not a submersible bag or a substitute for your airline's required liquids container.
